The great thing about this painting is that you’ll get to learn so much about using the paint as we layer the background and shape the flowers with layers of color.

This class covers some important painting skills, like wet-on-wet painting, how to use your palette of colors to paint plants, and an emphasis on color mixing.

You will have some time to chat and connect with others during the class.

I’ll make sure you love your piece and it will be ready to hang by the time you leave class!

Class Description:

1. Acrylic painting on an 11x14 canvas, approximately 2 hours or more in length.

2. All materials are included, plus one complimentary tea or coffee. Other drinks and pastries are available for purchase.

3. Please note who you want to sit with if multiple people are signing up individually.

4. We will meet at the long table in the back of the Cafecito, 10257 Socorro Rd, Socorro, TX 79927. Parking can be tricky. Consider parking in the open lot across Belen and crossing the street to walk around to the Cafecito if the small lot in the front of the Bodega is full.

Convenience:

1. Each class is taught step by step by a trained instructor and artist. All questions will be answered during the class.

Clothing:

1. Please wear appropriate clothing that can get paint on it. There is a possibility that your clothing or personal items may be stained if materials get on them.

Students Must Purchase Tickets in Advance

1. All tickets must be purchased by 11 AM the day of class.

Cancelation Policy:

If you have to cancel, please let me know via email or phone at least 24 hours in advance of class time to receive a refund. If you have to cancel less than 24 hours before class, contact me directly for instructions. If you are a no-show to class, you will not receive a refund or credit.
